I need a Phone Tech! |

 |
|
November 23, 2005
We get this call a few times a day:
"Can you come out to our office to work on our system?"
No. We can't (unless you are in the Detroit area and then it's still a maybe).
However, don't give up hope.
If you can't remember the number to the folks who last worked on your system or you don't like them or they aren't in business anymore or...well, there could be a lot of reasons you need service...open your local Yellow Pages.
This might seem too obvious, but believe it or not, it hasn't occurred to many of the people who call us looking for a phone technician. Look under the heading of Telephone Systems. You'll find many companies that would love to have you for a service customer. Try to find one that advertises for the phone system manufacturer that you use. You might be surprised. If you do find one, they'll likely be in your general area.
If that doesn't work, try to find the website for the manufacturer. They should be able to find a dealer in your area.
If those ideas don't work, there are two more things to try. If you still have an installation manual for your system, maybe you can coax a phone tech to come out and try to program it.
You can always try to find a phone tech in your area on our website. We don't vouch for them as the link we have is to someone else's website. We don't know any of them, so you'll find good and bad. The link is at the bottom of all the pages on our website. Click 'Useful Business Links' on the blue bar at the bottom. You'll find a button for phone installers. Click it and you'll go to someone else's website. They have technicians arranged in geographic areas.
We hope this helps you find a technician. Meanwhile, we would be glad to help you with any of your phone equipment needs.
